Transportation
- Airport Shuttles: None to the hotel (typical taxi or Uber fare is about $30)
- The Las Vegas Airport (LAS) is a little east of the southern end of The Strip, approximately. 4 miles from the Westgate
- There is a Hotel Shuttle run by Bell Trans that stops at multiple hotels at Door 8 outside of Baggage Claim
- Cost is $15 per person
- They also have limo services
- Note that in Nov. 2024, there may be impacts on traffic on The Strip due to preparations for the Formula 1 race 11/21-11/23
- Las Vegas Monorail: Covers the northern half of the Strip

- Las Vegas Monorail Tickets (typically $6/ride, $15/day, 3 Day Pass $30, with roughly 10% discount online)
- Hours: Monday: 7 am – 12 midnight; Tuesday: 7 am – 2 am; Wednesday: 7 am – 2 am; Thursday: 7 am – 2 am; Friday: 7 am – 3 am; Saturday: 7 am – 3 am; Sunday: 7 am – 3 am
- The Deuce: Ways to Travel: Bus that goes in both directions the length of The Strip ($4/ride for out-of-town visitors)
- Trams: There are very short free trams between adjacent hotel properties on the south end of The Strip (at Treasure Island to Hard Rock; Bellagio to Park MGM/Aria; and Excalibur to Mandalay Bay)
Weather
As of 11/6/24 the current weather forecast for the week including Nov. 12-17, 2024 is for highs in the 60s and lows in the low 40s, with only a minimal chance of rain.
